繞口令 ‧ tongue twister

今日同大家玩一個遊戲 - tongue twister




簡易篇:

1.Disco dancing did do lots of good to Donald Duck.

迪斯可舞真的對唐老鴨有很多的好處。



2.Father frowned at the foolish farmer.

爸爸對著愚蠢的農夫皺眉頸。



3.Jealous Jennifer jeers at Jane's jingling jade and jewels.

吃醋的珍妮嘲諷阿珍那些叮叮噹噹響的翡翠和珠寶。



English Learning Corner:



1. do....good = 對...有好處

e.g. It'll do you good to get a bit of fresh air.

呼吸一點新鮮空氣對你有好處。



2. Frown (v.,n.) = 皺眉

v. - e.g. She frowned at me, clearly annoyed.

He frowned as he read the instructions, as if puzzled.

n. - e.g. "Leave me alone, " she said with a frown.

Frown on/upon sth (phrasal verb [often passive]) = 不贊同一些事情 (to disapprove of something)

e.g. Smoking is frowned upon in many restaurants.



3. Jealous (adj.) = 妒忌的[(+of)]、吃醋的、小心守護的,唯恐失去的[(+of)]

e.g. He had always been very jealous of his brother's good looks. (妒忌)

e.g. Anna says she feels jealous every time another woman looks at her boyfriend. (吃醋)

e.g. She is very jealous of her independence, and doesn't want to get married. (小心守護的,唯恐失去)



仲有advanced level 呢....



進階篇:



1. Fried fresh fish,

Fish fried fresh,

Fish fresh fried,

Fresh fried fish.

被煎的鮮魚,趁鮮煎的魚,剛剛煎的魚,新鮮的煎魚。



2. A tutor who tooted the flute tried to tutor two tutors to toot.

Said the two to the tutor, "Is it harder to toot or to tutor two tutors to toot?"

一個吹長笛的老師想要教兩個家庭教師吹長笛。

這兩個家庭教師對老師說:「是吹長笛比較難,還是教兩個家庭教師吹長笛比較難?」



3. Susan sells seashells by the seashore.

Does she sell seashells by the seashore?

If she sells seashells by the seashore,

Where are the seashells she sells by the seashore?

蘇珊在海邊賣貝殼。她在海邊賣貝殼嗎?

如果她在海邊賣貝殼,那她在海邊賣的貝殼又在哪裡呢?
